Seek the LORD while he may be found; / Call you on him while he is near
Let the wicked forsake his way, / and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
And let him return to the LORD, / and he will have mercy on him;
And to our God, / for he will abundantly pardon
We confess to God Almighty; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit that we have sinned in thought, word and deed, through our own grievous fault. Wherefore we pray God to have mercy on us. Almighty God, have mercy on us. Forgive us all our sins and deliver us from all evil, confirm and strengthen us in all goodness and bring us to life everlasting; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
May the Almighty and merciful Lord grant unto us pardon and remission of all our sins / time for the amendment of life and the grace and comfort of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Lord, open our lips / And our mouths shall proclaim your praise
O God make speed to save us / O Lord make haste to help us
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit / As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end
Amen.
We praise you O God; / We acknowledge you to be the Lord.
All the earth worships you / the Father everlasting
To you all angels cry aloud / the heavens and all the powers therein
To you Cherubim and Seraphim continually cry / Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of Hosts
Heaven and Earth are full / of the Majesty of your glory
The glorious company of the Apostles praises you / The goodly fellowship of the Prophets praises you
The noble army of the Martyrs praises you / The Holy church throughout the world acknowledges you
The Father of an infinite Majesty / Your honourable, true and only Son
And the Holy Ghost: / The comforter.
You are the King of Glory, O Christ / You are the everlasting Son of the Father
When you took it upon yourself to deliver humanity / you did not abhor the virgin's womb
When you had overcome the sharpness of death / you opened the kingdom of heaven to all believers
You sit at the right hand of God / in the glory of the Father
We believe that you will come to be our judge / Therefore we pray to you: help your servants
Whom you have redeemed by your precious blood / Make them numbered among your saints in everlasting glory
Lord, save your people and bless your inheritance / Govern them and lift them up forever
Day by day we magnify you / and we worship your name, ever world without end
Vouchsafe, O Lord, to keep us this day without sin / O Lord have mercy upon us, have mercy upon us
O Lord, let your mercy light upon us / as our trust is in you
O Lord, I have trusted in you / let me never be confounded
Psalm 26
Judge me, LORD, for I have walked in my integrity. / I have trusted also in the LORD without wavering.
Examine me, LORD, and prove me. / Try my heart and my mind.
For your loving kindness is before my eyes. / I have walked in your truth.
I have not sat with deceitful men, / neither will I go in with hypocrites.
I hate the assembly of evildoers, / and will not sit with the wicked.
I will wash my hands in innocence, / so I will go about your altar, LORD;
that I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, / and tell of all your wondrous works.
LORD, I love the habitation of your house, / the place where your glory dwells.
Don’t gather my soul with sinners, / nor my life with bloodthirsty men;
in whose hands is wickedness, / their right hand is full of bribes.
But as for me, I will walk in my integrity. / Redeem me, and be merciful to me.
My foot stands in an even place. / In the congregations I will bless the LORD.
Isaiah 41: 10-13
Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. / I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
Behold, all those who are incensed against you will be disappointed and confounded. / Those who strive with you will be like nothing, and shall perish.
You will seek them, and won’t find them, even those who contend with you. / Those who war against you will be as nothing, as a non-existent thing.
For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, / saying to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’
Psalm 103
Praise the LORD, my soul! / All that is within me, praise his holy name!
Praise the LORD, my soul, / and don’t forget all his benefits;
who forgives all your sins; / who heals all your diseases;
who redeems your life from destruction; / who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies;
who satisfies your desire with good things, / so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
The LORD executes righteous acts, / and justice for all who are oppressed.
He made known his ways to Moses, / his deeds to the children of Israel.
The LORD is merciful and gracious, / slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.
He will not always accuse; / neither will he stay angry forever.
He has not dealt with us according to our sins, / nor repaid us for our iniquities.
For as the heavens are high above the earth, / so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.
As far as the east is from the west, / so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Like a father has compassion on his children, / so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him.
For he knows how we are made. / He remembers that we are dust.
As for man, his days are like grass. / As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
For the wind passes over it, and it is gone. / Its place remembers it no more.
But the LORD’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, / his righteousness to children’s children;
to those who keep his covenant, / to those who remember to obey his precepts.
The LORD has established his throne in the heavens. / His kingdom rules over all.
Praise the LORD, you angels of his, who are mighty in strength, / who fulfil his word, obeying the voice of his word.
Praise the LORD, all you armies of his, / you servants of his, who do his pleasure.
Praise the LORD, all you works of his, in all places of his dominion. / Praise the LORD, my soul!
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed by thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever.
Amen.
Be mindful, O Lord, of your people bowed before you / and of those who are absent through age, sickness, infirmity or any other cause
Care for the infants, guide the young, support the aged, / encourage the faint-hearted and bring the wandering to your fold.
Travel with the voyagers, defend the widows, shield the orphans / deliver the captives, heal the sick.
Succour all who are in tribulation, necessity or distress. / Remember for good those who love us, and those who hate us
And those who have desired us, unworthy as we are, to pray for them. / And those whom we have forgotten, do you, O Lord, remember.
For you are the helper of the helpless, / the Saviour of the lost
The refuge of the wanderer, / the healer of the sick.
You, who know the need of each / and have heard every prayer,
Grant unto us according to your merciful loving-kindness and eternal love / Through Jesus Christ, our Lord
Amen.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit / be with us all, evermore.
Amen.
