Week 1 Saturday Morning

Seek the LORD while he may be found; / Call you on him while he is near
Let the wicked forsake his way, / and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
And let him return to the LORD, / and he will have mercy on him;
And to our God, / for he will abundantly pardon

We confess to God Almighty; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit that we have sinned in thought, word and deed, through our own grievous fault. Wherefore we pray God to have mercy on us. Almighty God, have mercy on us. Forgive us all our sins and deliver us from all evil, confirm and strengthen us in all goodness and bring us to life everlasting; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May the Almighty and merciful Lord grant unto us pardon and remission of all our sins / time for the amendment of life and the grace and comfort of the Holy Spirit.
Amen

Lord, open our lips / And our mouths shall proclaim your praise
O God make speed to save us / O Lord make haste to help us
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit / As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end
Amen

We praise you O God; / We acknowledge you to be the Lord.
All the earth worships you / the Father everlasting
To you all angels cry aloud / the heavens and all the powers therein
To you Cherubim and Seraphim continually cry / Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of Hosts
Heaven and Earth are full / of the Majesty of your glory
The glorious company of the Apostles praises you / The goodly fellowship of the Prophets praises you
The noble army of the Martyrs praises you / The Holy church throughout the world acknowledges you
The Father of an infinite Majesty / Your honourable, true and only Son
And the Holy Ghost: / The comforter.

You are the King of Glory, O Christ / You are the everlasting Son of the Father
When you took it upon yourself to deliver humanity / you did not abhor the virgin's womb
When you had overcome the sharpness of death / you opened the kingdom of heaven to all believers
You sit at the right hand of God / in the glory of the Father
We believe that you will come to be our judge / Therefore we pray to you: help your servants
Whom you have redeemed by your precious blood / Make them numbered among your saints in everlasting glory

Lord, save your people and bless your inheritance / Govern them and lift them up forever
Day by day we magnify you / and we worship your name, ever world without end
Vouchsafe, O Lord, to keep us this day without sin / O Lord have mercy upon us, have mercy upon us
O Lord, let your mercy light upon us / as our trust is in you
O Lord, I have trusted in you / let me never be confounded

Psalm 64

Hear my voice, God, in my complaint. / Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, / from the noisy crowd of the ones doing evil;
who sharpen their tongue like a sword, / and aim their arrows, deadly words,
to shoot innocent men from ambushes. / They shoot at him suddenly and fearlessly.
They encourage themselves in evil plans. / They talk about laying snares secretly. They say, “Who will see them?”
They plot injustice, saying, “We have made a perfect plan!” / Surely man’s mind and heart are cunning.
But God will shoot at them. / They will be suddenly struck down with an arrow.
Their own tongues shall ruin them. / All who see them will shake their heads.
All mankind shall be afraid. They shall declare the work of God, / and shall wisely ponder what he has done.
The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall take refuge in him. / All the upright in heart shall praise him!

Tobit 13: 1b-6a

Blessed be God who lives for ever / and blessed be his kingdom.
For he scourges and has mercy; he leads down to hell and brings up again; / neither is there any who can avoid his hand.
Confess him before the Gentiles, you children of Israel, / for he has scattered us among them.
There declare his greatness and extol him before all the living, / for he is our Lord and he is the God our Father for ever.
And he will scourge us for our iniquities, and will have mercy again, / and will gather us out of all the nations among whom he has scattered us.
If you turn to him with your whole heart and with your whole mind and deal uprightly before him, / then he will turn to you and will not hide his face from you.
Therefore see what he will do with you, and confess him with your whole mouth, / and praise the Lord of might, and extol the everlasting King.

Psalm 135

Alleluia! Praise the name of the LORD! / Praise him, you servants of the LORD,
you who stand in the house of the LORD, / in the courts of our God’s house.
Alleluia, for the LORD is good. / Sing praises to his name, for that is pleasant.
For GOD has chosen Jacob for himself; / Israel for his own possession.
For I know that the LORD is great, / that our Lord is above all gods.
Whatever the LORD pleased, that he has done, / in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;
who causes the clouds to rise from the ends of the earth; / who makes lightnings with the rain; who brings forth the wind out of his treasuries;
Who struck the firstborn of Egypt, / both of man and animal;
Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of you, Egypt, / on Pharaoh, and on all his servants;
who struck many nations, / and killed mighty kings,
Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, / and all the kingdoms of Canaan,
and gave their land for a heritage, / a heritage to Israel, his people.
Your name, O LORD, endures forever; / your renown, O LORD, throughout all generations.
For the LORD will judge his people, / and have compassion on his servants.
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, / the work of men’s hands.
They have mouths, but they can’t speak. / They have eyes, but they can’t see.
They have ears, but they can’t hear; / neither is there any breath in their mouths.
Those who make them will be like them; / yes, everyone who trusts in them.
House of Israel, praise the LORD! / House of Aaron, praise the LORD!
House of Levi, praise the LORD! / You who fear the LORD, praise the LORD!
Blessed be the LORD from Zion, / Who dwells at Jerusalem. Alleluia!

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed by thy name.  Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Be mindful, O Lord, of your people bowed before you / and of those who are absent through age, sickness, infirmity or any other cause
Care for the infants, guide the young, support the aged, / encourage the faint-hearted and bring the wandering to your fold.
Travel with the voyagers, defend the widows, shield the orphans / deliver the captives, heal the sick.
Succour all who are in tribulation, necessity or distress. / Remember for good those who love us, and those who hate us
And those who have desired us, unworthy as we are, to pray for them. / And those whom we have forgotten, do you, O Lord, remember.
For you are the helper of the helpless, / the Saviour of the lost
The refuge of the wanderer, / the healer of the sick.
You, who know the need of each / and have heard every prayer,
Grant unto us according to your merciful loving-kindness and eternal love / Through Jesus Christ, our Lord
Amen.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit / be with us all, evermore.
Amen.
